It’s big news for us and great news for our customers – we’re opening a new state-of-the-art showroom.
The 250 sq metre space in Oakleigh will replace our boutique showroom in Malvern East, which closes its doors for the final time on Sunday 29 September.
The new showroom is open to the public from 10am the next morning – Monday 30 September – and represents another step up in Rosemount’s renovation services.
There are currently five display kitchens on show – including a high gloss modern kitchen, shaker style kitchen and black matte kitchen.
Each one has different elements to show you what’s possible with a kitchen renovation.
In the near future, we’ll be adding another two kitchens and a bathroom.
You’ll be spoiled for choice – not only in Oakleigh, but in each of our showrooms.
Bitter sweet move from our original home
For the team at Rosemount it’s an exciting move tinged with a little bit of sadness.
The Malvern East showroom is where Rosemount Kitchens first started in 2010, acting not only as a showroom but also the company’s head office.
Since then we’ve added two other showrooms in Nunawading and Essendon, which feature 18 display kitchens as well as bathrooms and laundries.
But as much as we loved our Malvern East base, the company and its expanding team had outgrown its original base and a new home was needed.
The showroom is situated at 2 Kingston Town Close in Oakleigh, with the added advantage of plenty of free on-site parking for both staff and customers.
“We spent almost a decade in Malvern East but the time was right to move to a bigger and better space,” says Rosemount owner Mark Tonkin.
The new showroom is almost four times the size of Malvern so we’ll have more opportunity to show customers just what’s possible with a kitchen renovation. With our other modern showrooms in Nunawading and Essendon, we believe people won’t find a better showroom offering in Melbourne.

Next stage in an exciting journey
The Oakleigh showroom’s upper floor will act as Rosemount’s new head office, providing a base for the highly experienced team who help hundreds of customers renovate their kitchens and bathrooms each year.
Mark says none of this would have been possible without the wonderful support of customers, trade partners and valued contractors who’ve helped build Rosemount’s reputation as one of Melbourne’s leading renovators.
This move marks the next stage in what has been an exciting journey over the last decade. We’re just looking forward to continuing to help our customers create the kitchens and bathrooms of their dreams. After all, that’s what it’s all about.
