Are you wanting something a little different for your Melbourne kitchen?
If you have been looking through kitchen and home magazines lately, you may have seen the current trend of white-on-white kitchens; with clean, simple lines in white cabinetry with white benchtops, colour may have been brought in through accessories or splashbacks.
Although this is still a popular choice of many of our Melbourne clients we are noticing a shift in thought, and people are wanting something different. The shift is moving to two toned, incorporating timber or timber veneers look products or adding natural elements that add interest to the kitchen, for example brass, gold, copper finishes in tapware, handles or lights.
These looks can be used in both modern kitchen and traditional kitchen designs and the Rosemount Kitchen team look forward to designing and using some of these looks in our kitchen designs.
Brass in Kitchens
A great example of using brass accents in kitchen design, (as pictured above) is featured in the current issue of Belle Magazine April/May. Brass handles were used for the tapware and also the handles on the integrated fridge, which is a Sub-zero fridge.

Tmber in Kitchens
Using timber, timber veneer or timber veneer lookalike products, such as ‘Cleaf’ or ‘Ravine’ by Polytec together with gloss or satin cabinetry makes a statement in any kitchen.
