Our Essential Kitchen Guide

This project in a renovated Glen Iris family home showcases a kitchen that uses the natural surrounds to create a bright, light-filled, inviting and functional space that’s a pleasure to work in – or simply just be in.
Looking at the kitchen-dining area now, it’s hard to believe that the previous kitchen was dark black laminate with a dark timber edged benchtop.
Rosemount’s kitchen designer was asked to create a modern, light and bright kitchen design that was stylish and functional.
Although the main kitchen footprint did not need to be altered, as the work triangle (fridge, cooktop & sink) worked well, storage was a major concern to the clients.
This is common in today’s kitchen projects, and we introduced several clever storage solutions to maximise space, including two LeMans units in the blind corners as well as pull-out drawers in the pantry. Another new bank of drawers make this kitchen a breeze to work in.
And by integrating the dishwasher and pull-out cargo bin, the aesthetics were not compromised.

I just love this kitchen. It’s worked out perfectly. We had a builder working on the rest of the house and he couldn’t believe how well the kitchen was made and put in, and the after sales service from Rosemount was fantastic.
This was our first time renovating, so it’s fair to say there was a little bit of trepidation on our part. But our experience was very positive and we’re thrilled with our new kitchen.
Rosemount made this an easy and mostly seamless undertaking for us and the results are significantly better than we anticipated. To say we are delighted with our new kitchen is a gross understatement. It is just sensational.
People love the kitchen, and are blown away with the transformation. And for me it’s not just beautiful, every part is so functional.
Our decision to contract Rosemount resulted in a high end result, within budget and on time. The company’s wonderful team had the expertise, experience and dedication to guide the project from start to finish making the renovation a great experience and not a burden.
We’re thrilled with how the kitchen renovation has turned out. It’s gone from the darkest to the lightest room in the house. It looks so beautiful and I just love it.
Rosemount were by far the best of the trades we dealt with in our whole renovation, and continue to be. And we had a great kitchen designer who was clearly excited about doing something a bit different and edgier. He really brought some of my ideas in the kitchen to life.
Rosemount is a premium product and they should be very proud of the results they produce. Our neighbours walked in and just went ‘wow’. And that wow factor is the difference.
The quality of the build cannot be faulted and the level of service we have experienced from Rosemount has been exceptionally good. Everyone we spoke to over the phone and those that visited our house were a delight to deal with.
Everyone within the company is fantastic, from the reps to the managers/owners to the tradesmen. We couldn’t have asked for a better team to look after this build.
