This beautiful townhouse in Toorak was in need of a new kitchen that gave ‘a sense of light’ to a dark room.
The home owner discussed that she wanted to feel like she was walking into a brightly lit room. This was achieved by using neutral colours and maximising the use of light above the cabinetry, with pelmet fluorescent lighting and also under-cabinet halogen lights.
There was cabinetry in the room that was not going to be changed, so the colour was given to the painter to be matched for the kitchen cabinets.
They were beautifully painted with a satin finish and the benchtop chosen was 40mm Caesarstone ‘Snow’. They also chose Caesarstone ‘Snow’ for the splashbacks, which gives an overall sense of sophistication and beauty.
Practicality and clean lines were a big part of the client’s brief and this was achieved by having no handles and the use of drawers for storage and Hafele Cargo bin.
Blum’s Servo Drive was used for all drawers and bin drawer which makes this kitchen not only functional and practical, but state of the art.
Together with the clients choice of finishes, appliances and undermount sink with sloped drainer in the stone benchtop, Rosemount completed a terrific kitchen renovation that created a space the owners now don’t want to leave.

Rosemount made this an easy and mostly seamless undertaking for us and the results are significantly better than we anticipated. To say we are delighted with our new kitchen is a gross understatement. It is just sensational.
Rosemount is a premium product and they should be very proud of the results they produce. Our neighbours walked in and just went ‘wow’. And that wow factor is the difference.
Rosemount were by far the best of the trades we dealt with in our whole renovation, and continue to be. And we had a great kitchen designer who was clearly excited about doing something a bit different and edgier. He really brought some of my ideas in the kitchen to life.
Everyone within the company is fantastic, from the reps to the managers/owners to the tradesmen. We couldn’t have asked for a better team to look after this build.
This was our first time renovating, so it’s fair to say there was a little bit of trepidation on our part. But our experience was very positive and we’re thrilled with our new kitchen.
Our decision to contract Rosemount resulted in a high end result, within budget and on time. The company’s wonderful team had the expertise, experience and dedication to guide the project from start to finish making the renovation a great experience and not a burden.
The quality of the build cannot be faulted and the level of service we have experienced from Rosemount has been exceptionally good. Everyone we spoke to over the phone and those that visited our house were a delight to deal with.
People love the kitchen, and are blown away with the transformation. And for me it’s not just beautiful, every part is so functional.
